About Us

Bloom Early Learning is privately owned and operated .
At Bloom Early Learning, we recognise the vital role that a child’s environment plays in their development into responsible, independent, and confident individuals. We take pride in our learning centres and provide children with beautiful play environments.
By combining aesthetically pleasing and stimulating environments with the expertise and dedication of highly skilled staff, we ensure that children who attend Bloom are set on a path toward a bright and successful future.
Our play-based learning programs, inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy, are thoughtfully designed to ignite your child’s love for learning, exploration and curiosity. Our educators foster independence, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning.
We support a deep connection to the natural world, encouraging children to learn through their engagement with the outdoor environment.

Bloom Early Learning Journey

For nearly two decades, Bloom Early Learning has been a trusted name in childcare, known for our exceptional standards and unwavering commitment to children’s learning and wellbeing. Founded in 2007 by Effie Charlaftis, our centres were rated Exceeding National Quality Standard by ACECQA, setting the benchmark for quality care and education.
After taking time to focus on family and study, Effie has relaunched Bloom, returning to Glen Iris, where it all began and expanding to East Malvern. As a private owner-operator, we offer a high level of personal care and attention.
